O.A.R. stands for "Of A Revolution," the ideals of a group of 8th graders bent on making music that would change the world. Their official offices were a booth at the local pizza place in Rockvillle, Maryland, where they discussed details like how they'd divvy up the money when they went on tour. Their first releases were self-produced on indie labels, and they became one of the hardest working acts in the business, tirelessly touring to promote their music despite a lack of airplay. They've been riding this wagon together from Day One, and the horses are picking up speed.

Lead singer Marc Roberge talks about their transition to mainstream success, how their fans shape their sound (yes, they read those message boards!), and his Steve Sanders moment.
