Last time I saw him it was acoustic noodling over acoustic riffs. With all the toys and skill he has going, it's other-worldly these days. Danceparty.ca... As soon as Dave started playing I knew full well that I'd be there till the end. Many thanks to everyone that came out. That was a great dance party. Despite the inherent repetive nature of looping, his tracks were so richly layered and varied that it kept my attention focused on the details of the sound all throughout both sets. Excellent choices of covers too! (I was singing New Order in my head during my Viarail ride this morning.)As a side note I had an adventurous/hilarious TTC trip home that evening as I navigated my way through scads of post-Carabana revelers.
