Paying faithful homage to the classic Jamaican roots sound of the late 1970s and early 80s, House of David Gang adds jazz, funk hiphop, calypso, Afrobeat and folk flavours to their uniquely Canadian reggae mix. Now, they set out on their third national tour of 2009! The new House of David Gang sound combines the authentic vocal and rhythmic wisdoms of frontman Desmond “King Selah†Anderson and drummer Collin “Jah-lin†Edwards with the eclectic talents of new members such as guitarist Jay “The High Plains Drifter†Clearyâ€, bass groover Chris Bottomley and keyboardist Henderson “Killa†King.
