Where to stay for Bethel Center for the Arts?

There are 4 of us travelling down to see a show and stop by Big Pink.

The area is seemingly filled with campgrounds, all at least 30 minutes away except two that look sketchy (Happy Days and Swing Bridge Campground).

Any suggestions on the best camping around, both close and far? We are staying for 4 days so we'd like a nice site, but also don't want to leave the show in a car.

Thanks!

stayed at happy days a few years ago, when we say panic at bethel woods. not the best campground that i've stayed at, but it was okay. looked like it was a great place maybe 20 years ago. we smam in the pool there. they showed a movie outside on saturday night, and had a dance at the barn. there are a bunch of people with trailer cottage set ups. it was pretty expensive as well IIRC. it's about 20-30 minutes from the venue, and the drive can be tricky late at night. (at least it was for me, i got totally lost and it took me an hour to get back.) as you have found out, there is very little around there. anyway, it was the closest campground that we could find.
