Final Night of the NuFunk Festival 2010

The Festival wraps up in true NuFunk style with The Big Boogie, as the Make It Funky crew welcomes two of NuFunk's closest friends God Made Me Funky and King Sunshine. This special night is sponsored by Engineers Without Borders and a portion of proceeds will go to support the organization's vital development work in Africa. This will be the first time that Toronto's top funk bands share the same stage!

Welcome to NuFunktonia!

NuFunk Festival starts tonight (Thursday, March 4th) at Rivoli with Kevin Breit & The Sisters Euclid & High Plains Drifter and tomorrow (Friday, March 5th) it's The Souljazz Orchestra CD Release Party at Revival w/ John Kong & Dub Monkey.

....But on Saturday (March 6th) we will transport you all on the NuFunk Mothership docking at 529 Bloor St. (Lee's Palace) on a special trip to NuFunktonia - a new world in an alternate galaxy where getting funky is the main agenda! This intergalactic land will feature 3 sets by Toronto's top Funk bands "God Made Me Funky", "King Sunshine" & "The Main Thing" supported by The Make it Funky Dj (Farbsie, MickeyD & DJ ?uesquecest). It's an amazing line up and I hope you join us for the finale of the NuFunk Festival.

You wont want to miss this - these bands have never shared the stage together and are banding together for a special cause - supporting "Engineers without Borders" work in Africa.

Advance Tickets are at Play De Record, Rotate This, Slinky Music, Soundcapes & http://www.ticketweb.ca - email me jay@nufunk.ca if you want me to hold tickets for you at the door.

For all the info please visit: http://www.nufunk.ca

hope to see you at the shows!
