Hank Reardon
Hello all... I need some help with two problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are the questions. A doctor schedules appointments for nine patients--A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,J--during one week, Monday through Friday. She schedules two appointments on every day but Wednesday. On Wednesday, she schedules one appointment. She sees D on Tuesday and H on Friday. She sees E three days before she sees C. She sees G and J on the same day. She sees A on a day after the day she sees F. She sees B on a day before the day she sees G. Which patients does the doctor see Monday? AND... There are 1000 metres in 1 kilometre. If you travel 65 metres in 3 seconds, what is your speed in kilometres per hour? I can't get an answer to the first question... and I have an answer for the second question, but the automated quiz says it's wrong (but I think the quiz is incorrect). Thanks. hamilton
No, I think it's 78 km/hr. 65 / 3 = 21.67m per second 21.67 * 60 = 1300m per minute 1300 * 60 = 78000m per hour 78000 / 1000 = 78km per hour
