bouche
This is really impressive.Plani-Bus appears to be a service from STO, since OCTranspo.com just points to STO's interface. Not sure how many people need this in Ottawa, but living in Gatineau, it will surely come in handy.
AD
OTTAWA — Transit services in Ottawa and Gatineau have merged their travel-planning databases, which should make it easier for interprovincial bus riders to arrange trips. The amalgamation of the OC Transpo travel planner and the new Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO) plani-bus database “is a new bridge aimed at connecting both cities by making transit commutes from one transit system to the other easier than ever,†according to a City of Ottawa press release.OC Transpo and STO are taking a “collaborative approach†so that public transit is “more relevant than ever to residents of Canada’s capital region,†the press release says. The OC Transpo travel planner, at octranspo.com, handles about 10,000 route requests per day, according to the city.Transit users can also call 613-741-4390 for OC Transpo information.
