Jaimoe Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 I'm not a wrestling fan, although I was one in the 70s and 80s. Still, this is pretty shocking news. I guess they found Curt dead in a hotel room. I'm figuring that he either died of a drug overdose or a heart attack brought on by years of steroid and/or drug using. Pretty sad news. Wrestlers and football players don't seem to live very long do they? They put on so much weight to suceed, that their hearts eventually give out.
rubberdinghy Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 WHAT! It was all about the perfectplex...
Rob Not Bob Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 Do you know how many professional wrestlers have died since Jan 1 2002? 17It's really disturbing. A lot of people mention the steroids or the recreational drugs, but one of the worst problems is a number of the doctors are seriously over-prescribing painkillers. One reasonable guess is that Hennig (a known heavy drinker) was mixing alcohol and painkillers (what probably killed David Von Erich as well). It's a real shame.Rob Not Bob
