deranger
A few people on this board will recall the whole thing about how if you signed up for the Casino Rama players club card you got free tickets to concerts.....a bunch of us myself included did this for the allmans show there a few years back. Question: since I'm now a member of the players club and haven't been back since, what are my chances of showing up this Friday (Feb. 4th) for the Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt show and getting free tickets again with my card/membership? thoughts? bouche
wouldn't you have to actually have used your players club card to receive a 'comp'?
deranger
no, that was the funny/weird part. All you had to do was walk up to the ticket booth(it was outside the gaming floor next to the theatre entrance) and ask the person to sign up for the club card. you fill the form out, provide ID, and they give you a card. We weren't sure how to broach the "can I have free tickets to the show?" question but the people working there seemed to already know and she just asked me straight up, "how many tickets would you like for the show? (the allmans who had just started) I didn't have to ask and I certainly hadn't gambled, I had come straight from the parking lot. So it didn't matter at that moment that I hadn't gambled at Rama at all. It was an undersold show and club card members were getting free tickets (and signing up for card was free). which is why I'm curious about walking in this Friday afternoon not having been back since and seeing about freebies to Lyle and John.
