Jay Funk Dawg
That was a great night Hamilton! Thanks for all the good vibes. We had about 45 people out for two sets, DJ Themes came and warmed up the place with some great new and old reggae. A couple High Plains Drifter songs snuck into the start of each set. Special guests from Riddim Riders - Franklin & Mike - were a highlight of the encore with there version of "Have you ever been in love".We were all glowing after the show - because we all felt that we connected strongly together, this incarnation of the band has played for 17 months and we're turned into a strong unit. However about halfway home to Toronto, the tire of our trailer pop'd and instead of fixing it and getting a tow we dragged the trailer home. I was sleeping in the back seat while we drove very slowly back home with this awful screech of steel behind us. We got home about 6:30am. just getting up now - glad we made it! Big us to Johanes (YO) who we ran into earlier, Sarahbelle, Jen, Sarah, Alex Peers, Ras Oliver, Riddim Riders, The Casbah, Where Heads Meet, James Lloyd and everyone who can out to dance. Big love Hammertown!
