So I'm one of the organizers of this event, and thought I'd post about it here, as some peeps might be interested.

A few of us have decided to put together our own, all local, one day mini-festival and it's going down this Saturday June 25, at the Barley Mow parking lot on Bank in Old Ottawa South.

In following with the other great local showcases, we wanted to bring a bunch of local independent bands together, who might not usually have the opportunity to play on the same stage, and just try to get a bunch of people out for a fun time in the sun.

The event runs from 12:00pm-8:30pm at the Barley Mow, 1060 Bank St. We'll have a bunch of door prizes throughout the day, 50/50 draw, BBQ, and a portion of proceeds from the door will be going to two charities:

Hilariously enough, the event will be hosted by A Channel's own Bill "Outlaws & Heroes" Walychka.
