Toronto's Dub/Reggae scene bands together for a special celebration of roots reggae, dub and cannabis culture! Chameleon Project are hot off shows at CirQlar & Camp Bisco. House of David Gang is gaining strong exposure on international airwaves with their band new CD "Reggae Warrior". Resinators, Canada's "Live Dub Experience" returns after several years hiatus, original lineup featuring veteran Jamaican drummer Raffa Dean & Blaine Johnson (Mountain Dread) on sound. All joined by DJ Aram Scaram, aka Citizen Sound, whose brand debut has been described as "demonstrative of an identifiably Toronto dub sound that's both melodic and tough for the dance floor."

Throughout their career House of David Gang has been known for their uplifting roots rock reggae sound reminiscent of Kingston, Jamaica's music scene in the late 70's mixed with a modern roots Canadian feel. The band takes its name from The House of David, an after-hours spot on Queen Street West that was a hot spot for artists from the city's burgeoning Rastafarian and reggae community from the late 80s until the mid 90s. Now with the release of their album "Reggae Warrior" on NuFunk Records, the band continues to pave their own road as Canada's hardest touring reggae band. Currently #6 on the Canadian Reggae Music Charts!

Resinators is a high energy hybrid of DUB & hard rock. It is an urban sound in the roots of traditional dub reggae. From deep classic DUBs to lover’s rock to hard steppas and dancehall, Resinators is a unique vibe. Traditionally, DUB has been defined in terms of studio post-production techniques. Resinators brings the studio on the road, and turns it inside out, playing the DUB live! Back after a several year hiatus, the original "Live Dub Experience" line-up is back together featuring veteran Jamaican drummer Raffa Dean and Mountain Dread on sound and featuring dub fanatics J bass & G star* DUB.

As Toronto’s agents and instigators of the local live jam, fusion & electronica scene, The Chameleon Project (CP) have been the city’s host to, and shared the stage with, such acts as The New Deal, Lotus, Charlie Hunter, EOTO, Dub Trio, Garage Mahal, Biodiesel and Bassnectar. Armed with bass-heavy material, daring improvisations and mind-bending tonal colors CP weaves elements of dub, jazz, disco and electronica into a narcotic psychedelic fusion. The Project has been regularly astounding audiences by taking listeners on a sonic journey to places, yet uncharted but at once familiar.

Citizen Sound is the production moniker of Toronto-based DJ and producer Aram Scaram. He began his musical journey as a DJ in 1999 rocking local dance-floors with his soulful, dubbed out vinyl selections. Recording as Citizen Sound Aram released his debut album in 2010. Blending his love of music and sound system culture into a hybrid of dub and soul, reggae and hip hop. He teamed up with some of Canada’s premier singers & musician’s to help bring his home-grown vision to life. The end result is an exciting fusion of sound that pays tribute to the foundational roots
