That track simply had to go on. But I had an ulterior motive: if we have a radio program featuring jam-bands, I think it's useful and important to show off the range of music that term encompasses. One of the things that impresses me most about fans of jammy music is the diversity of their tastes. The same people who get crazy during a wicked GD "Space" (or B&Z last night) will also groove right along to straight-up bluegrass, and not perceive any contradiction.

That track is part of this: put it up against the "Lemondust" that's on there, and they seem antithetical, but we all seem to be able to accept it all.

It's also fun as heck. [Wink]

Aloha,

Brad
