David Bowie Coming To A Canadian Television New You

Canadian fans of David Bowie will have a few opportunities to see the living legend perform this month. In addition to his tour dates (December 12 in Toronto and December 13 in Montreal), the icon will be making an exclusive Canadian TV appearance when he headlines an episode of CTV’s etalk DAILY on December 15.

During the 30-minute program, Bowie will perform a selection of songs to a fortunate studio audience at Toronto’s historic Masonic Temple. The show will also feature an interview with host Ben Mulroney.

Topics of discussion for the interview are most likely to include Bowie’s latest release and 26th studio album, Reality, as well as his current world tour.

"David Bowie exclusively on etalk DAILY. That’s a string of words we are incredibly proud to group together," said Jordan Schwartz, Executive Producer of etalk DAILY. "The opportunity to showcase David Bowie at the historic Masonic Temple is one we look forward to."

And this event is one that many Canadian fans are sure to look forward to as well. Bowie’s almost four-decade-long career is definitely one of longevity. The self-proclaimed "Chameleon Of Pop" has proven to be exactly that and more, constantly evolving into new and innovative personas over the years. He’s been able to gather a legion of fans, young and old, and usually cement their loyalty for life. Even at points when he’s been out of the spotlight, he has maintained his fame and his status as one of music’s most influential artists.

The etalk Exclusive With David Bowie will air on Monday December 15 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV.
