I always find it disturbing, but I'm hopeful the context falls within the perameters, if y'know what I mean. [Roll Eyes][Frown]

I guess it's probably because I've been kinda desensitized to these kinds of violence cause of movies and my own life. Ruthlessness doesn't faze me, only make me sympathize more with both sides of the equation on a personal level. The psychology of a soldier is an interesting thing, and I feel that it's something more primitive than being a hunter-gatherer. Instinct can be offensive.

I also feel for the victims. It's not an easy thing to look down the barrel of a gun.

Powerlessness doesn't do it justice.

I do feel that this is an unjust war, but I doubt the validity of any conflict. Money is as good a reason to go to war as religion or politics. [Frown][Roll Eyes]

Where does your heart lie? Mine is with the buddhists, hindus, christians, muslims, jews and people of all other denominations who would like to find a better way than to quarrel with one another.

Sorry about the sermon, I feel exhuberant from the other post. [big Grin]
