Booche Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 THANK YOU! That was a fantastic read. Personally, I have 2 favorite guitar players that can go hand in hand sometimes, so dont flag me as being an idiot please............. I met him when he played with Jazz is Dead before their comfort zone gig, and traded a Canadian smoke for one of his Marlies. Dont ask me what we talked about, cause I cant remember, and Jaimoe decided to 'own' the conversation. He was a fantastic cat though, and couldnt be more pleased to talk to a couple of his fans, which I wasnt completely, until 2 songs into the set. I have yearned for his playing since. I couldnt be happier he is a member of The Other Ones, I bet they wouldnt interest me as much as they do if he werent there.
mikey d Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 wow wicked article. I have always wondered if jimmy felt as though he had to live up to jerry, and I never knew that eh wasnt a dead fan until recently. He's a wicked guitarist, though, and I'm a huge fan, especially of his Jazz Is Dead work.
