Remember that time when videos were the defacto standard for promoting bands and getting music played on music video channels like MTV and MuchMusic? Remember the time even before that when we had Friday Night Videos and the Canadian version called "Good Rockin' Tonight" with Terry David Mulligan hosting? In the age of YouTube, we now see musicians producing videos for a much smaller production fee, with a much higher quality and value. The equipment, technology and talent resources available seems to make it much easier and to pull off. A band IP doesn't need to pay a network to play their video anymore. They can simply produce a music video and upload it to YouTube for free.
The Barr Brothers just released a video for one of their songs from their eponymous album on YouTube. Enjoy.
