Yeah, in this case, IBM stands for "It's Beneath Me"*.

I will never buy from these guys, regardless of how good their products are and/or how good a company they are. A company makes a conscious decision as to what their ad campaign is going to be. If a company expects me to check them out by putting on a smart, funny, interesting, etc., campaing, they should expect me and my droves to stay away if put on a dump, lame, obnoxious, etc. campaign.

They've made their choice; I've made mine.

Not only that, but they claim to be cheap which they certainly are not. A buck a day is for a shitty computer that no one would want and you're locked in for years. It arrives to your door out-of-date, by the time you finish paying it off it's obsolete!

If you want to upgrade you're looking at $3-7 bucks a day, over several years. How is that worth knock, knock, knockin' for?

The reason that they can't be artful with their commercials is that they used up all their creativity conjuring up such a scam.

No one go near that thing!
