I can't picture any camping that is right in town though. you might have to drive up or down the transcanada a few miles. Also the Kicking Horse Hostel is in town and its nice and cheap. VibeRiders Posted May 15, 2003 Report Share Posted May 15, 2003 Dude, There's a campsite in Golden, right on the Kicking Horse River. Go through town until you see the bridge over the river. They'll be a movie theatre/video shop on the corner. The camping is about a half a km behind the movie theatre. Just follow the roads along the river. Also the Mad Trapper Pub is just a hint before the campsite. Make sure to check out the RoadHouse on Monday for the dirtiest strippers in the mountains. It's actually just a big piss up, and there happens to be strippers in the background. Damn, I love Golden....used to live there, fond memories.
