Cirque du Soleil (Kooza)

Made a trip to Toronto earlier tonight with my wife and two children to check out Cirque du Soleil (Kooza). Wow! It was our first live Cirque experience and we were all blown away. Amazing human performances, lots of laughs, excellent live music that complemented the performances, wicked costumes, etc. We had sweet seats which made it even more special. Pricey, but definitely worth it.

Oh what a good daddy you are Mark. Cirque is certainly magical and fun. I bet the kids loved it!

All four of us absolutely loved it. The acrobatic performances were mind-blowing. Think high level gymnastics multiplied by 10, with the performances being done as a top-notch band provides the "background" music. Lots of great humour as well, which was accessible to the whole family. More about the show can be found here:

I've seen the Cirque stuff on television, but seeing it live blew my mind. And my daughter went to Cirque Niagara earlier this year, but was very disappointed with that show. This show, on the other hand, amazed her.

It was such a treat to look over at my kids to see awe in their eyes. And my son's laughs and giggles had me smiling from ear to ear and feeling warm inside. Magic.

Liana said it and I agree ... we'll be going again the next time another full-blown touring Cirque show comes around.
