So, what game do you think will have more intensity in the next few days (for the fans and the players on both sides)? Leafs vs. Canadiens or Leafs vs. Senators honestly. In terms of regional rivalries there are wayyyy more fans in this area who respect Montreal and are happy to see them go far. Good luck finding many who will cheer for Ottawa ... even if they were the last "Canadian" franchise in the playoffs.

Like it or not, the rivalry has been dead for years and years. Leafs/Sens is the modern rivalry and that's based on the frequent (until the last 3 years ) matchups in the playoffs.

LOL ... i bet you're right on that theory. Just looking at the box score, so Roy gets diving and Schubert and Robitaille both get hooking penalties? How did that work? I've always felt that if the ref is going to call somebody for "diving" than that should totally negate whatever hook/hold/etc penalty is called on the other player. Diving is appaulling IMHO (in hockey that is ).

I'm surprised they don't whistle instead of booing I tell ya, the last few times I went to see hockey at the ACC and Scotiabank Place the crowds were pretty lame unless there was a fight. My last game in Montreal was for the final match at the old building between Toronto and Montreal and it was AMAZING! No Ole Ole shit THAT night
