I remember seeing Tommy Lee in an interview talking about an 80s Motley Crue/Ozzy Osbourne tour. They had all done so much coke on the tour bus that when they got off Ozzy walked up to an ant-hill, got on his hands and knees and started snorting the ants right out of the ground!

I had a really good time overall and saw lots of acts I may have overlooked under different circumstances. Considering I usually end up at big hippy drug-fests (and maybe don't listen to many non-jambands) I was very impressed with the location, the music and the folks involved.

I'd certainly go again next year if the line-up was solid (especially if some kind person gets me in for free again, and camped on the performers island, no less).

I'll be there hopefully late Friday night through to Sunday. Looking forward to it as I've never been to one before.

Rose Garland and Harvard Mouse are booked. And some Doctor with a PH'D in Hash is a guest speaker...odds are good that we'll probably end up there.

I was just listening to a show of hers last night but had no idea that she was playing in Steeltown. She's a really good guitar player...but does anyone know if she's hot? That would seal the deal.

Awesome show. I'm encouraged by the success of this tour (considering the failure of Zooma etc.) Hopefully they'll do it again next year.

Who said Toronto can't support good acts?

My last image of Frontiertown was Krazy Korey and Shawnald pouring whiskey down that horse's throat. She seemed drunk already and a little rowdy.

She's probably in Mexico with Shawnald and all the pretty girls he picked up.

Thanks again to all the folks who made it and the bands that rocked out. What a blast! I didn't realize until I got there how much I missed that place.

Hopefully we can do it up there again sometime this summer.

Maxwebster....it's Kim Mitchell's first band of course. Sort of an inside joke as a result of the first time Snelly and I went to a Kim Mitchell show in 1999 (by accident)...and chemicals lead us to believe it was the best thing that ever happened.

I bought a copy at Bonnaroo but haven't watched it yet...apparently the actual release date has been pushed back. Maybe I could arrange some viewing parties? If I come to Ottawa for Canada Day I'll bring it....If I go to Ghost town I probably won't.

After seeing them at Bonnaroo I really missed the full-on horn section band. I mean it's not Phish, but they did get some funky grooves going on the 2 times I saw TAB.

As I mentioned on the Eggmen thread, Steeltown seems like the place to be tonight.

I just got back from Bonnaroo a couple days ago and now I'm lookin' for a REAL party like only Hamilton can deliver.

Look for me sketchy and/or passed out in your homes this evening.

So whether it's Wassabi or the Eggmen I guess what you are all trying to say is that Steeltown is the place to be tonight.
