  1. True this has been around for a while. My problem is most products on the market for average growers are just glorified NFT (nutrient flow technique) hydro systems. True Aeroponics uses atomizing systems that break water down to a molecular level then calibrate nutrient levels and O2 accordingly. As you can imagine they are still very expensive and are impractical for home gardeners.

Growth rates are much faster but three times as fast is a stretch. Some other methods employee fish, Aquaponics or Aquaculture. Hydrorganic and biodynamic methods use organic nutrients and cultures to break down the nutrients into more accessible forms while still growing Hydro. Both of these are not practical for large scale food production but make nice home projects.

  2. Yea we work on this stuff to. the latest tech. uses dissolved liquid Oxygen to boost production. Warning Liquid O2 is very dangerous and should not be used in your closet it is a contact explosive and should only be used by trained Pros

  3. my point at well gecko is so old. Try alivelectric for a more up to date sound.

I have seen and herd them both countless times and while i like them both I think that The Slip are like sculptors of sound where every little, even what might seem insignificant sound builds up into a chores to express countless emotions while AGP rock out but never really go any where. (just my thoughts)

  4. Dave,

You got it right with the bigger room and the two bars. But if I remember didnt the old Higher G. have a raised level up front on the right. I think in time the new venue will wear on me. An by the way I did Have agreat time in VT. Sneakers for breakfast is always fun, plus wine tasting in the grand islands What a good time. Sorry I diddnt run into you. I could barly remember what you looked like from the Nero NYE 2003-4 show

    Booche some advise on hotels

Hotels: I would recoment the Super 8 or the Royal Court inn they are about 2 or 3 blocks and thats as close as it gets. Most other hotels are about ten blocks

By the way, has any one seen tarantula they are opening

  5. I know its a thursday night but Im still sending the call out. The SLIP!!!!! Come on Down.

Guigsy, havent seen you down here yet. Whats up with that?

Bouch, I looked for you in burlington but my eyes were slits of their normal self. Great Show though. I was a little disappointed with the "New H.Ground" Its ok but the way it was hyped up I thought it be more like a real Ballroom, to be honest I like the Old Higher Ground better. Then again they do have two rooms now)

  6. To clear something up FatBoy records was created before the Sony 550 deal. It was just not very big back in the day. Loaf, fatboy and headseed are on it. Meat has Chris Mauzer(Worst moe drummer ever) on drums with no Lauchlin or Amico so I find it to be a little square.

I got my copy at the No Doy relaese party in Buffalo in 96, It is hard to find and when I had Al and the rest of the guys sign it for me a few years back in red Sharpie he asked if it was going up on e-bay but I dont know where to start bids at (any ideas)so Ill add it to rest of my crap.

Meat used to be the dark star of moe. songs. they never played it and when they did people went crazy. I like the newer version because Jim is sick on the xylophone but i think it is over played now.

  7. Knowledge truly comes from the heart and can not be judged by letters following your name or what school you went to. We all chose to apply our heart in different areas, when you are insulting someone for whatever reason you are weakening your own resolve. To publicly hector someone only shows a lack of tolerance and compassion. As this energy flows through and makes its way to those who manifest it on themselves I will say a prayer to the four directions mother earth and to the great mystery.

Be at peace with yourself and care for your family and friends.

  8. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world just to be part of this family. I have only been a fan for just over a year and it has been the most enlightening experience a band and their friends have ever given me. Like many of us I see hundreds of acts a year and no band or community of friends have ever inspired me like nero. From the deepest point in my heart and soul thank you for the smiles, the tears the laughter and most of all thank you for the friendship you have cultivated among so many like minded souls. nero is truly one love supreme. my heart goes with you all in whatever or wherever life takes you.

wakan tanan kici un - may the Great Spirit bless you

  9. Very fun, Very fun indeed. But dad I was going to go to town and get some power converters. Big ups to all the fine friends I was lucky enough to hang with last night. I had a great time and can not wait for Utica next week. Contact was a nice suprise (night rider theam was pulp) thanks again for all the hospitality there are to many fine folks for me to list. I was totally perma grin all night and then I went downstares at guelph's. Hulk Homer thats just crazy.

Ps. Thanks for the turkey bags my lungs felt great this morning.

  10. When I first saw the slip in 97 there was no singing. Just the instruments. In later years when Dickey Betts picked them up on flying frog records Dickey paid for Brad to get singing lessons (a little known fact) At first I did not like the unpolished voice but in time I have come to hear it in my dreams and whole ideas have come from his words. Thank god the still put out great instrumental music and have not entirely gone the way of most modern music with the addition of lyrics. The Slip is not for everyone if it were it would not be what it is. To all who love the slip I recomend listing to a band that grew up in the Berklee scean with them who in my oppinion blow the shingles of the slip. (also on flying frog records.) SCHLEIGHO. the recording live from the HO-down 2000 is great
