The Slip

I was working at a resort a few years ago when they put on this Polka weekend. As a waiter I was able to talk to a bunch of the older fans about their seen. I could not believe how they toured around the country from place to place to listen and dance to music. They whole thought of that just gets me. Who could possibly want to do that. (Sinker) So unfortunately these folks requested a late night ice cream party while the band played. they did serve booze as well and these old farts danced till about 2 can you believe that I actually helped in ending the party (I was tired) one old man summed it up for me. I’m retired, all i want to do now is die dancing. And thinking about it now I wonder if that was his fate. I hope so.

The Lost Dog is around the corner from the State Theater. No need to drive or park your car. If you are at the Moe show you can walk from one venue to the other in about ten steps. The two places even share a smoking pavilion. (way better than the club where lynch played) Also I just lined up the best sound company in Upstate New York. I just had to bring in the big guns for this show. It will be a full production with lots of lights and I am working on getting some live visual art creation on stage as well. Did I mention Jim is interested in sitting in. God this is going to be fun

It Was amazing totally amazing, there are some photos on the slip site. I had one magical experience. And I would like to get in on this trading if I can.

yea I had such a good time at the truck. Running into shannon and erin then meeting u was great. Ill look into the slip dates. as for you, ask for friday the 29 off right now and we will rage the 28th!!!!!!

nero At the lost Dog Cafe in Ithaca, NY for a moe. after party on 10/28. I just talked to Jim from moe and he wants to sit in with the boys so that should be fun. I hope to see some of you down here for this one. I have a big house with lots of futon and floor space. So you are all welcome

Moe ripped it up last night in Syracuse. Closed with a 3.5 min Cap. America that was better than fireworks. Some times the short and sweet versions are just what the crowed needs. Tonight they play three sets with the first set all Acoustic. (I cant remember them doing this in the past. Can anyone else?) It should be good one. The show has been sold out for days now so no need to hop in the car without tix. There were alot of tapers lastnight so Im sure copyes will be floting around soon.
