  2. I've seen a lot of talk on here about Cornmeal, but know nothing of them. I guess I need to do some Youtooobin'.

Oh, then if I like them, I have to go to Toronto to see them. I think I'll be out of toronto music road trips after wilco.

my buddy dave casey has been in constant contact with the drummer John-Paul Nowak. Gave him some contacts for an ottawa show, But it's not up to him it's up to the booking agent. Basically they told dave they want the venue filled up or they won't make it ottawa. So we are going to try and promote the shit out of it. Here's hoping. The toronto show will be on a thursday nov 5th from what i have heard at the drake hotel. We told them to hit mavericks. Hopefully it will go through.

    Youtube goodness

  3. I've tried most of the big car rental chains here in town and none rent convertibles, anyone know of any other options?

    Thanks!

Only the airport locations carry convertables. Only convertables in the city are from national/alamo and budget. National has GT mustangs and budget has seabring convertibles haha hot!!! for convertibles. National charges $130.00 a day and budget around $115.00 That's it for ottawa. If you want to make the trip to montreal your options open to mercedes to audi's etc in convertables. peace

  4. their is no will call for camping my friend. I purchased will call camping at first. then like i always do i did my research and this is what it says on the ticketmaster gorge camping site

"THIS IS NOT A PARKING TICKET OR CONCERT TICKET! NO WILL CALL!

Standard Camping is $55 per vehicle, $95 per vehicle for Premier Camping.

Camping Tickets will be good from Thursday August 6th at 12pm through Sunday August 9th at 12:00pm. A camping spot consists of enough room for a vehicle and a couple of regular two-man tents or one RV vehicle. Spots are available on a first come, first served basis. Camping sites have access to potable water, an on site convenience store, portable bathrooms and 24-hour security. THERE ARE NO RV HOOK-UPS ON SITE.

Yet that is the only option for canadians. So i called ticketmaster and they were like oh ya. well we will just cancel that for you. So i asked what my options where to get camping tickets and they are like try your luck when you get here. Ya right. I booked a hotel months ago.. Good luck. peace

  5. my friend made this for a bbq and I have tried it once. Holy moly it was good. Probably not good for you. But great. I put diana's sauce on top just cause that's what I like once the burgers is cooked. here is the instructions she gave me Cheers

The recipe is called "bacon wrapped hamburgers", but obviously we did not wrap the hamburgers with bacon, instead we cooked the bacon, let it cool, and then we broke the strips up into small pieces and mixed it in with the ground beef. I would suggest that you let the patties sit in the fridge for a little while after you make them and before you cook them, as this will allow all the flavours to combine. Also, I guess when my brother has made this recipe, he has also added some hot sauce, which was also very good too.

    Bacon Wrapped Hamburgersâ€

    Ingredients

    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    1 TBSP grated parmesan cheese

    1 small onion, chopped

    1 egg

    1 TBSP ketchup

    1 TBSP worcestershire sauce

    1/2 tsp salt

    1/8 tsp pepper

    1 pound ground beef

    6 slices of bacon

    6 hamburger buns

    Directions

    1. Fry bacon in pan until crisp. Transfer to papertowl to cool. Once cooled, crumble bacon into small pieces (just a little larger than the size of a pea).

    2. In a large bowl, mix together the cheddar and parmesan cheeses, onion, egg, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and bacon. Crumble in the ground beef and mix together by hand. Form into 6 patties.

    3. Place patties on grill and cook until done

  6. i might need them...i will try to find out today.

i also bought tix..on a side note are they at will call or do you have them? cause i never got mine and cant remember if they are at will call.

if you bought them through canada ticketmaster they are at will call. that was the only option for us. Mine are sitting at will call aswell. peace
