Thanks for the helpful suggestions...and the not so helpful ones...they made me laugh.

I generally love wine alone, but have been thinking about sangrias. Some are sweet, some sour. Some strong tasting, some light.

What makes the difference? Does it matter if I buy good wine, or cheaper wine?

Shiraz on Somerset W and Percy have stuffed olives, I think with cashews...I will take a look for ya.

I would go used Ottawa or Craiggs list.

My borther just bought one, his budget was $2000 and he got a super deal of $700.

Look around, most used canoes can still fetch around $1000 but some people don't know that.

Also look in the outskirts of Ottawa. Peterborough, Perth etc.

I always thought that the best way to reach kids is to show them.

Example: have a forest conservationist come and teach them about trees, go to a park, talk about plants, what they needs, what kills them etc.

Bringing kids into their own environment to teach (as oppose to a movie) and learning about how it affects them directly. You could also have a little project that they can do to win a prize (give them 2 weeks after or before your event todraw a picture or whatnot and you can take some of your budget money for an "environmental" prize...good for promotion later on too).

He and his wife life in Chelsea, HUGE outdoors enthusiasts, cycling, running, cross country skiing, paddling etc.

Not sure about camping so much.

Depending on your jobs, Ottawa is a nice place to live. Lots of green spaces and we dance at our shows. but most find it boring...boring people boring everything. I dont.

Montreal is where I would move to if I could chose. I love the people, culture, city, surfing, boarding.....

My Favs are from Mama Theresa's here in Ottawa. I haven't been there in a very long time, but they have some soaking with garlic and oil, serve with bread. The olives look like they've been dried.

I think that I might have to stop in there soon to see if I can buy some.
