  1. I'm watching it again on Buffalo PBS right now. Almost over, but the TV just has Arcade Fire listed for the next bunch of episodes I can check info on.

Wow apparently I also get the Seattle PBS... They are playing the episode before Wilco on that station at 3am on Sunday. So maybe the following Sunday at 3am will be Wilco?

  2. The people helping you sound like idiots. Although yesterday/today is when stock gets changed over, so I suppose it could have been in transit somewhere. Or on an endcap/wheelie/other display (They can check which displays its supposed to be on if they are smart enough). Or wherever they put the books they think will get stolen. I work at Coles, we have a bunch of them on display behind the cash desk. Actually, maybe try going to a Coles. The stores are much smaller and therefore harder to lose things in. And probably more likely to actually call you when they find it.

  3. I finished uploading all of the pictures finally (mine and craig's)! There's some of the Big Rig Jig, the day at the deep end, our camp, etc...

And hey Schwa, I'm pretty sure you have Thursday night and Friday night mixed up. Friday was Cirque Berzerk according to the guide, and the Camp Jub/Artcar ride was the night before that I think... but whatever, thats just a testament to the general wonkiness, everything crazy, everything running together...

I've been trying to put my prints in chronological order, and it's IMPOSSIBLE!

  4. I took a total of four photos on my digital camera, all on the first day there. The rest are getting picked up by Craig after work tonight.

I have no idea where to start describing it... in addition to the crazy stuff already mentioned, it also rained, followed by an amazing rainbow... the most awesome vocal wave going around the temple the night it burned.

As for music, I remember one night of Oakenfold then crossing the playa for Bassnectar. And riding an artcar with a band called Warsaw Poland Bros. playing up top.

Random awesome moments: working the hug deli, the hot dog cart that showed up on the playa right when we were hungry, being fed a spoonful of ice cream while dancing in the intense heat at the deep end, hiding in keith's tent during the intense dust storm, the blugrass jam at iron rose, karin and a blow up doll at camp jub, being handed cups of coffee while walking back from eating bacon at pigmalion camp...

    A few pictures here:

    more tonight i hope!

  5. No frills, price chopper, food basics, that sort of grocery store always has piles of boxes at the front to use instead of bags.

I would also try bookstores - at work we receive all sorts of different boxes, but we only send out certain sizes, so the others get recycled. I work at a Coles, but maybe this also applies to Chapters/Indigo?
