Just found out that one of my musical heroes is coming out with a book on the origins of the universe... how talented is this guy! I'll have to check this one out.
-
Excellent....
-
Funny... just two days ago I had a burning smell coming from mine, then I could not turn it on. I had to get the power supply changed, and got a more powerful one than before. Solved the problem.
-
No live stuff, a few of his albums... really like 'Funky Thide of Things'
-
My god! Checked out the solo sample...never would have expected that from these guys... will most definitely be looking into them further.
-
Haaa... oddly enough, I just enrolled Shelby with the Royal Conservatory last night.
-
That's about a year to the day that Steve Hackett was in town... fond memories of GTR anyone?
Wow, GTR... now there's some 80's memories for me.
-
Huge fan... would have loved to see this, but will not be albe to make the show. One Yes show I saw he did three of his acoustic solos in a row... pretty darned impressive.
-
Baaah!!! Wish I could make it... this would be a blast.
-
I am right there with Brad.
-
Are you gonna be at this one for dinner Jay?
-
Just to confirm, it's on the Friday too? (poster says both days, but only the Thursday is listed below it).
-
We were trying to think of something cool to do for dinner and a night out for my B-Day... think I may just have found it... this looks fantastic.
-
Dang, not going to be able to make this one either (noooo... two in a row). I will be there in spirit.
-
The Chatham Blues Fest is the next day too. Spending Saturday afternoon on the river-front patio enjoying some tasty eats and taking in some more great music would be a nice follow up to Friday's festivities.
Hmmmm.... this sounds fun. Is anybody hosting a post-blues fest party and crash for those who may want to stay the evening and night as well as the afternoon? Heck for a 3 hour drive, might as well make it a weekend thing. Really hoping I can make it.

The last one blew me away... and this one is supposed to be way better. Even if you are not a Genesis fan, I'd recommend checking it out.

Wow, I stayed Sunday night too, and still didn't want to go home on Monday. What a great frigg'n time... great people, music, dancing with my daughter, having my gals there for a change was fantastic. And some great drum times, watch'n hitchhike mike playing the fire. Can't beat fresh air, fresh coffee, and even fresher people.
Cheers to you all, hopefully see you at Come Together.

Willy,
that album is the best one. They have an older one but it's not as polished. Watch the DVD as well to see what they are like live.
They have a third one I believe now too.. I just got hold of it a few weeks ago... I really like it.

hopefully thwarted...

I was flying home from New Jersey last night. My first flight was cancelled, and second one majorly delayed... I sensed a wierd vibe going on.
-
Does anybody know for sure if food will be sold to the attendees? I seem to recall last year that they site said food was available, but it ended up being for bands only.
-
These guys are becoming one of my new favourite bands.
-
I'll be goin... I hope... getting back from Punta Cana on the day of the show... so hopefully no flight delays.
-
Come-on by and have a welcome beverage.

I have found that the time you get up in the morning is irrelevant. Whether I have to get up at 7am... or 11am, I would just be adjusting my 'got to bed' time accordingly, and still not want to get up either way. It really comes down to... do you have to get up because you have to, or are you getting up because you want to. I feel that regardless of what time it is, I consider it sleeping-in if I am getting up on my own volition, and not being forced to.
... and usually a zombie until that first cup of kicking horse.
