  1. Anyone get tix in the Ottawa pre-sale?

I got through right at 10am, tried to get the medium-priced tickets but there were none available. It did try to sell me the high-priced tickets at $164 each, but that's more than I want to spend to see this band.

I strongly suspect the low and medium priced tickets were not available for the pre-sale. I'll try again Monday morning.

same for me in TO tried a couple of times, couple of ways $149 was what kept coming up....not willing to go for that price either.

  2. whatever I am just looking for any excuse to bring up the BK ANGRY BURGER - almost want to go try one and eat it all ANGRY like.

ha! I thought I heard them say "angry burger" on the commercial last night. I figured I must not have heard right.

Found out one of my friends on the way to Browntown to see Jeff/Mike last night entered a BK and screamed his order very angrily with use of swear words. Obviously ordering an angry burger. :)

In addition, his girlfriend just happened to go out this past halloween as the one and only Burger King - she made the costume herself - the head a huge paper mache - awesome - and she was about 7ft tall with it on (she's +/- 6ft tall herself) anyway she still has pics of it on her phone...so I guess they were a hit - staff loved them, gave them free onion rings and brought their food to their table for them.

I SO WISH I WAS THERE TO WITNESS!!!

  3. Thanks for all the happy words! Last nite was a grand old time for sure....

Ahhh so this is what the real world feels like eh? Does every day in this world begin with a headache and praying to the porcelain gods??? :)

Yep - pretty much - welcome to the real world! oh and congrats.

  4. Wowzers..

Yes, that’s right, this is an alarm clock that wakes you gently in the morning with the aroma of sizzling bacon. How is this miracle possible, you ask? Just pop a frozen strip of bacon into the little tray before you go to sleep, set the alarm, and about 10 minutes before you’re set to wake the clock flips an internal switch and two tiny halogen lamps begin to cook your bacon. The aroma wafts over you as your dreams turn to breakfast, and the alarm begins to chime... what is that wonderful smell, you think groggily? Ah yes, it’s your fabulous alarm clock with bacon benefits, ready with your first food treat of the day. The only thing better is not setting an alarm at all.

OH BOY, OH BOY, OH BOY!!!

I am not a morning person - I think I just found a way to remedy that.

OK now I have something for my Christmas list.

Then I just have to figure out a way to make the bacon weave cheese roll in it.

Bacon and cheese - two of my absolute favourite things.
