Fluids are the best, ginger and lemon tea with a little honey is very detoxifying. Can you take any over the counter medications? Plain tylenol is pretty standard procedure at the hospital. PP is right about the couch, become one with it for a few days. Multivitamins are a good help as well.

Once when I was camping these guys played the opening laugh and "All Aboard" call from the begining of Black Sabbath's Crazy Train, they just played that section over and over and over for an entire afternoon, fu©k I was ready to get on the crazy train after that.

I think that just as the "jamband" scene borrows and includes many musical backgrounds and genres to create their sound, the community can only become stronger and more enriched by embracing others within the scene. I try not to alienate new commers to the scene, because we all know at one time or another in our lives how uncomfortable it is to be singled out, and I try not to be like that, not all the time but I do try. I also find as a "newbie" to the board that there is a lot of musical elitism on the board, and people are often personally critized for their tastes in music, instead of expressing their views about the music itself, it can quickly become a personal attack. However, I do find most people on this board and around the scene to be very loving and accepting people and I am proud, most days, to be apart of it.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Fever-hooch-overflow. There's a dance club below PJC, when it's cold outside and a line up to get in some of the little dancing girlies make their way into Pepperjacks.

Maybe it's just where you are, there are tons of girls that come out to Hamilton shows. Although recently when at out of town shows there is a stronger male presence, especially around the stage (it's kinda creepy really). I think that the problem is not with the jamband scene in particular, but with girls and the bar scene in general, some guys can get pretty sloppy on a friday night and if a girl is out to enjoy a band or just to dance and you have some drunk slobbering wookie humping your leg, it can be a bit of a turn off.
