Weekdays, I set my clock for 6:25, which is actually about 5:40 because my clock is ahead by about 43 minutes. Some quick math to figure out what time it acually is and a hit of the snooze bar and it's back to sleep for another 9 minutes.. ahhhh... so nice. I repeat this until I have to get up at 7:15, which is actually 6:35. No problems getting up... especially if I have my clothes laid out and can look forward to that. On the road by 7am. (Which is actually 6:55 since my car clock is 5 minutes fast.)

Weekends, wake up whenever, instantly feel like gettin' into 'er, sometimes do!

used to it, at least in the same way that you can get used to being hit over the head.

i look back fondly to my last job where i didn't need the alarm clock and would wake up on my own around 8.

I think Diesel Dog deserves the most thanks... they did all the work!! Setting up, taking down... and of COURSE, playing their music which got everyone out and into our town for the night.

I have the same problem at one of my clients. Thankfully the flourescent's above my head burned out last week and facilities move slower than molasses in the winter-time which should mean I get a few weeks of peace from the lights. When I work out of my office I strive to not even have lights on and I'm proud to say my home is flourescent free and staying that way.

so what do you guys think of compact flourescent lights? i'm liking them, i find them way less evil and bright, and hardly make noise at all.

there is a disturbing delay before they energize though. can't say i like that.
