I'm still laughing at this one. 

The change in schedule for the mainstage on Sunday worked for me in that I got to see Antibalas (who went on later than planned) but didn't get to see Charles Bradley (who also went on later than planned). Antibalas sounded so damn good!  Too bad about missing Charles Bradley.

They also announced Sunday that Sugarman 3 would be doing a surprise set on Sunday night at This Ain't Hollywood with some other Daptones people probably stopping by.  Did anyone make it out to that?

Out of all the Supercrawls I'd say that this time around I saw the least amount of music. The lineup just didn't do a lot for me (except for Sunday main stage). Good times seeing and catching up with old friends though. That circus on Saturday night was pretty out there too, pretty cool.

At last.

Apparently Fourtet has cancelled at the last minute for tonight's show (which also happened at Hillside I believe?).  Jeremy from Junior Boys will be doing a DJ set in his place.

I just won a pair of tickets through the NOW magazine contest, for the 3rd year in a row. Last year it looked like anyone who entered the contest (via multiple contest outlets) was a winner - when I gave my name at the will call there was a several pages long list of names just for NOW mag contest winners, and a several pages long list of Exclaim mag winners.

Yeah I bit the bullet and ended up paying well above face value for a pair of lawns on StubHub. I had a bunch of credit sitting in my StubHub account (which they gave me from a previous, botched StubHub experience) which made it less painful to do so.

Now what am I gonna wear???

What a fun, high energy show! Really glad I went. Thanks Jay for the hookups. I would go see these guys again for sure. I remember a while back there was an article telling the story of this band that people said was a great article. Maybe from Rolling Stone. Does anyone remember and have a link?

I didn't see any of the openers but wish I had seen Matt Andersen. He sat in with Old Crow MS for 3-4 songs - what a voice that guy has! Holy crap.

I really like Echo Beach as a venue as well - unfortunate that the venue seemingly does not figure into Ontario Place's future plans.

I caught the last bit on a stream, from NICU forward. Looks like it was a lot of fun. Fishman's moves at the front of that conga line during I've Been Around would've been worth the price of entry.
