Mickey Hart produced one of Sammy's albums.

Not only that, each tooth-loser was first star!
Fun atmosphere at the game last night. I expect a closer game and more disciplined play on Tuesday night though.

I just watched Shanny's explanation. It kind of makes sense, I guess. He's quoting the illegal hit to the head rule. Personally, I'm not really that upset about the suspension.
The whole incident just adds more even more drama to the series! Enjoy the game folks.

Weird. All of the panelists, on both TSN and CBC, made up of former players and coaches and a former ref, said it was an OK hit.

Floor Center (I assuming not the pit but the section behind it). Row A.
Thanks for the heads up FBN, I would have snoozed on this.
I almost snoozed on this, but I remembered just at 10 am and got tickets.
Invitation to my throw-down will be coming sometime in October!

The walrus averaged over 30 goals a season playing in the NHL.
Prust? about 4!

My dad saw a Gilbert & Sullivan show at the Algonquin Theatre a couple of weekends ago. He said it was nicer and more comfortable than the NAC. No comment about the sound though.
I have fond memories of my father telling me to turn off that 'awful music' many years ago when I was listening to Sheik Yerbouti.

Proud to say that I've seen nine of the performers on that Tuesday line-up list.
Two of the acts (the "Blue" ones) I've seen more than ten times each.
-
Algonquin is walking distance from my place, so I'll throw a host down. Oops I mean host a throw down!
This is the "Roxy & Elsewhere 40th anniversary tour".

The whole approach is so damn shady. We might as well just forgo ticketmaster altogether and deal directly with scalpers
Ticketmaster IS the scalper!

You win some and you lose some in the ticket game. I failed miserable trying to score the cheap seats for the Stones concert in Montreal. I was able to get a pair of McCartney tix through his website pre-sale.
-
Hilarious! I just came on her to post the same article from yahoo.
Don't forget to keep in touch from jail, KK!
-
Did anyone manage to get tickets?
-
In!
See you there.
-
How does that pre-sale on his site work Mike? I'm not seeing a link.
Edit to add: D'oh! I'm ahead of my myself! Today is Tuesday. Back to work.

According to the article in the paper last week, the announcement will be made at 6pm today.
With this show, and the jazz and blues festivals, along with all the great shows (Stones, DMB, MMJ/Wilco/Dylan, ABB/Winwood, Black Sabbath) within easy driving distance, this summer's concert itinerary will truly be awesome. And expensive.
-
I got screwed! Congrats to all of you.

I think I'll be going to the SPAC show. Tickets are way cheaper than last year when Santana was on the bill. Public on-sale date is the 27th.

They could have gone paperless for the whole shebang. That would have kept the money out of the brokers' hands much more efficiently, while keeping the prices a little more reasonable for the average Joe.
