Huge thumbs up!

Any folks going to the Ottawa show are welcome to drop by my place pre-show Sunday afternoon. I'm not too far from Algonquin College. Send me a PM for details.

Time to strap on yet another feedbag.

Fuck the Folk Festival.

Maybe Aretha Franklin can fill in if her health has improved since June.

Neil has canceled his North American tour dates.

Enjoy your day!

I was looking into tickets for the Saturday night Worcester show - it's the only show my schedule allows. But by the time I got through, only seats behind the stage seats were available. I'm out unless I can get better seats.
-
I remember that EdenFest in 1996, mostly because I decided at the last minute to NOT go. Sold my ticket and stayed home. So glad I did after hearing from my friends about horrible it was.

I've seen 'em! Highly recommended.
I'm going away this weekend so I can't make it Saturday night.
Here's more info:

the pen vaporizers that are very similar to the e-cig vaporizers are the greatest fucking thing ever. they only work with hash oil (the ones I tried) but holy shit they make smoking in public so easy. I was side stage at the Beacon for ABB in March, happily puffing away on one and it was bliss. getting the little hash oil canisters is kind of a pain but when I move to the USA in a few months, its one of the first things I'm purchasing.
forwarded to US customs and immigration

I went for MMJ and Wilco, but I stayed for Bob Dylan.
Always wanted to see Richard Thompson, and I finally did. Great performance.
I thought the entire evening was excellent. MMJ started mellow, then they rocked in fine format.
Wilco, as I expected, were the highlight of the evening. Leslie Feist was special guest for a couple of songs.
Bob was brilliant. I've seen good Bob and I've seen bad Bob. This night was good Bob. I've gotten used to the obscure arrangements of his classics.
I thoroughly enjoyed this concert on a hot hot Monday night in Toronto.

Since this Phish show is postponed 'til the 22nd, I figure I better go to Steely Dan on the 21st. Just took advantage of this deal! thanks for posting.

THIS is the jambands.ca I know and love!

So how is everyone enjoying Bluesfest so far?
Highlight for me has been Belle and Sebastian.
Word. Also pleasantly surprised by She & Him. Good shiny and happy tunes.
Rush remains my favorite.

Well Phish was cancelled but we just got back from a smokin' Days of You show at a small club at Dundas & Ossington. A fun time, made up for the cancellation.
The club was "The Painted Lady", and it's actually more of a hallway. Shoulder to shoulder hippies!

I'm calling b.s - the "downed ten tequila shots" is too detailed a point to be believable.
Also, I doubt that someone who "could care less" about the Dead would feel "like listening to some Dead online".
-
A lot of people left by about 11:15, and it really opened up. It was easy to get close for a good view. The chairs and tables stayed put.
I left just before midnight, it's great that he played so much later.

See y'all there!

Has anyone received their wristband yet?
-
See y'all there, Hal!

That's a horrible name. Although I heard you get $1 Canadian Tire money with each ticket purchased.
-
Quite possibly their best line up ever!
-
I thought it was excellent. I wasn't in no pit though. But our low 300 level seats were just fine!
Thoroughly enjoyed the show and it was totally worth the money and drive.
