  1. afro poppa' date=' if he is, who i think he is...which he probably is looks like this:

if there was a comic book character that was a fan of jambands..and lived at a festival, and had many festival adventures...he would look like afro poppa.

You just described him as a hubba smoking wookie. I wouldn't take that so lightly afro-poppa.

I took it as a compliment??? Should I not have??

And forgive me for my ignorance, but what is a hubba smoking wookie?

haha, YES! That just made my day, thanks!!!!

oh and BTW, muzo is an awsome band so come early and check these guys out!

  3. Slammin Jack was a lot of fun...I dragged my buddy with me and he ended up loving it.

I can't wait to see them in Guelph...it was a great nite of music, Keller was a great start and Slammin Jack was a monster finish...then for dessert we had New Ho King!!!

  4. keller...what can i say? I was disapointed...i think it might have been a combination of terrible sound, and terrible bartending and awful security. As far as his set went, he had some good moments, but his set lacked continuity. I'd see him again but not as a headliner.

    slammin' jack was fun...good times

i remain the same with regards to Keller

    talented? yes

    boring? kinda

As much as I like the songs he chooses to cover (Joni Mitchell "Case of You", Grateful Deads "High Time", etc.) I don't especially like the way he interprets them.

thank you for the ticket POG :) it was great seeing some live music with you again bro

Yea I was talking to a bunch of people who felt the same way, a few even said specifically "lacked continuity"...I dunno, I didn't notice, maybe I was too busy dancing ;)

  5. I was loving every minute of it...can anyone say High Time > The Woman Are Smarter???

All in all a great show, Keller is a great entertainer and he looked like he was having a blast up there!

BTW - Slammin Jack after party was amazing! I can't wait to those guys in Guelph on Wed...

  6. who cares?

and for everyone that watches the show...why?

I can only speak for myself.

I care. I think others here do as well. (That said' date=' I have to wonder why you'd post in a thread regarding a topic you don't care about.)

Anyway, here's an answer to your question:

    I find it very entertaining.

Sometimes I hear good music. Other times, I enjoy watching young hopefuls getting a shot at a career, and it's quite heartening to see how happy they are just to be appreciated. I also enjoy the first couple of episodes of each season for the opposite reason, as you get to see people who actually think they're talented making fools of themselves.

    Does that help you understand?

Yea I guess I understand, if I don't watch it I guess I can't really bad mouth it, my bad

Just not my thing tho, for instance when Bo Bice came out with Trey at Bonnaroo I was not happy...until he went into the Abbey Road medley...that made me happy.

    To each their own...

  7. I was also there at the BREAKFAST's LEE's Palace show. For some reason the music was so loud, there never appeared to be much dynamics in their set, I believe it's because of the sound guy at LEE's. The rock mentality there is "keep it loud, that way people will drink more." Since the Gypsy is a smaller room, the band will have more control on their sound, as judging by their newest CD they are going strong.

Yea I remember u saying something about the sound at Lee's not being so great...but I am stoked for this show especially now that Muzo is opening for em...
