As I expected the movie glamourized the main character, unlike the book, but the real question is why did they leave out the fact that if he had went the other direction (~1 km) at the river he would have found a wire that you could cross the river in a bucket. That drives home the reality of survival in the wild. Luck is your friend.

I would like to make a Phish mixer of some of my favourite Phish tracks. Now I'm a bit of a Phish freak but I know that I can't compete with your collective freakiness on this subject. I may be retarded (that was rhetorical), but I have been looking for a high quality recording of this show forever. Does anyone know of a copy? I have never seen a SDB but am eagerly awaiting it. IMO the Palace's cavernous acoustics destroy most AUD resolutions.
