Does anyone have a copy of the Fly Fantastic cd? It wasn't released, just copies went out to some friends. I lost mine years ago and haven't been able to get a copy. For those who don't remember/know, fly fantastic was Ben Kaplan's band. He produced Orange Shag Carpet for BNB. If anyone has a copy, let me know, it would be greatly appreciated

More like, not everyone likes people who can't drum but still do with no dynamics over top of the artist who can actually play.

Is that this weekend? If so I may be in, I've been there almost every year since its inception and it's a lot of fun. Concentrates all the cool people in Peterborough into one spot.
Cheers,

Speed limits on the 400 series highways are too low, keep the 50 over penalty but raise the limit to 120 km/hr and all would be well.

Yo,
I'm going to be doing a BBQ at the Darien State park before hitting up the lot at The Allmans on Sunday for any skanks who are interested. I have about ten people in my group so it should be fun and just around the corner from the venue.
Cheers,
FunkyBeats.

Just launched on dead.net
Classic episodes of the Grateful Dead Hour, the long-running radio series produced and hosted by David Gans. Every Wednesday, we'll be adding another show from the archives, with exclusive interviews, special features and, of course, plenty of GD music, including many unreleased treasures from the Vault.
This week: the second installment of a four-part series featuring an interview with Steve Parish and the second set of 5/19/74 in Portland.

Taper's Section
By David Lemieux
Don't forget to check in weekly for the latest installment in one of our most popular features: vintage recordings, hand-picked by archivist David Lemieux. Recent highlights include choice stuff from the spectacular 7/16/72 show at Hartford's Dillon Stadium, selections from the Dead's homestand at San Francisco's Orpheum Theatre on the 1976 post-hiatus tour, the 1990 breakout of “Loose Lucy†(after an absence of 15 years and change), and more.
But enough of our yakkin' Go! Listen! Now!

Jerry Month:
With August coming up, Jerry Garcia's on everyone's mind more than ever. People are reminiscing, swapping stories, and offering ideas of the best way to spend Jerry Month here. Plans are under way for a Jerry Day celebration in his old neighborhood in San Francisco, which you might want to check out.

Likewise,
You didn't miss much, IMO, at The Handsome Furs and for the record you had me running too! Next time with your new sneeks it will be like Wimbledon, we'll probably draw a crowd.
Later dude,
