I don't know why it's so easy for everyone to get their knickers in a twist around here? If this was the lineup at the next CTMF would anyone think it was lame?
Anyway, I'm planning on hitting this one up this year. Got some friends up that way who go every year, and from what I hear it is the most beautiful venue for a festival. Planning on taking the aristocrat too so we can get a crew together. Any takers?
Well Put.

Glad to see something that I posted finally sparked some responses.
Currently listening to SSMB 5-24-95 Tommy Africas, Whistler B.C.
StoneMtn. Would you happen to know if John Lovat is out there still? My friend Steve who hooked me up with this band would like to know. He's an old friend.

my friend Kat likes them
she's old
my friend beerbottle likes them too
he's also old
i'm not old so everyone older then me knows nothing about music and is a total pussy!
Beer Bottle is old. The guy that introduced me to them is old too.

I know them from some friends who spent time out west- i've never seen them but they've got some good tunes. i think i have a copy of "Sparks off the guardrail" somewhere
anyway i'm pretty sure they're not around anymore, stnmtn seems to be familiar with em though, he'd be the guy to ask
I guess "Sparks Off The Guardrail" was their first studio, they have one more called "Mule". Everything my friend has played for me has been stellar. I actually wondered if BNB might even pull some influence from these guys.

I had never heard of these guys until I was over at a friends a few weeks ago. They've been a jamband from Vancouver since 1986. Pretty good stuff. Just wondering if anyone knows where they might be at or what they're up to?
Thanks any response would be appreciated.

The Canadian Womens Curling Team 02-22-06 Turino Italy.
It's not as exciting as I thought it would be.

was moedown 4 the one where i camped out with your mom?
That was his mom? *cringes*

It's clear your level of humour, too, is far more advanced than that of all of us.
Wow, you're the whole package!
-
You definetely sound like a heat bag!

when i was 17 and had no car, i would get rides to nero shows and use my fake id to get into bars to see a band that i cared about. and i brought the fuckin HEAAAAT!!!!!!@#!#@!@#!@#

.
if you think i'm a horrible person because i don't like the same jambands as you...well, you are no worse than Hitler.
Hitler? I mean, come on dude! Hitler?
It's just a harmless jab at you over the internet. Is there truly a need to bring one of your mentors into a JAMBANDS festivals' thread?
In my less than humble opinion the initial lineup announcement is pretty killer. Also half the ticket price of Bonnaroo at $120. With the gates opening on Wednesday. I probably won't go though. If I continue to post on here I won't have any friends left. So how would I get a ride?

can some one get me up to speed, please?
just WHEN did 'the artist formerly known as...." revert back?
and while I appreciate the crazy reminicenses that Purple Rain can bring, I cannot raise this dude up to the god-like stature you're giving him** (though god knows, he could use the boost, short little bugger that he is....)
I am open to being edumacated, please
** Ms. Hux, please don't revoke my hot tub privledges!
Check out the Prince On SNL thread from a week or two back.

compliments of Bouche. Good example of his considerable talent in very recent form.

Low Roller' date=' do you get into London often? I heard a bit on the news about how record companies were paying buskers in the subway system to play country tunes to ramp up interest in this movie, and in the genre more generally.[/quote']
Can't say whether or not this is true or not as I haven't been up to London in a while, however I've seen some pretty talented people just playing the streets around Brighton for pocket change.
Some of those buskers got talent don't they?
Currently listening to Lonesome Prison Blues. I wonder what kind of music Jerry spawned back in Oregon State Penetentiary?

Did I just say right now twice right then?
Or was that right now?
Ah Fuck. It doesn't matter right now.

I don't know how drunk it'll make me' date=' but this 1968 cask-strength (52.6% alcohol/volume) Bruichladdich whisky is going down mighty smoothily (or is that mightily smooth?)...
[/quote']
I didn't know you were a whisky drinker Brad. I'm pretty sure I recently finished off a bottle of that Bruichladdich at a friends house. It comes in a baby-blue and sliver tin right? It actually convinced me, after many years a scotch drinker, to add a little water to my glass to 'open up' the scotch. I've always sworn against water and insisted on drinking my scotch neat.
I spent my weekend with my good friend Dalwhinnie.
That's a nice bottle of scotch. Infact if I had any audacity right now. I would figure out how to post a pic of what I'm drinkin' right now.
This is the Guinness thread right?

I've always found that Heuy Lewis and The News records at loud volumes have increased my high.
In total agreement. It is Hip To Be Square.

That is a nasty stretch of the 401 between Chatham and Windsor. My cousins narrowly avoided that horrible accident. They were about 5 minutes ahead of it on their way to Ottawa. You can still see evidence of that crash there.

Aaron your avatar is very disturbing.

That's great backbacon. You must hang around with Mike and Becky. I'm sure that's Mike's daily read if so.
-
Let me get back to you on that later this afternoon. I have a friend stopping by that will recite off a few I'm sure.

This large regular Tim Horton's coffee that I just purchased a mere 10 minutes ago, for $1.40, is quite tasty. I live a stone's throw away from a Tim Horton's. It's dangerous for the ole pocketbook.
