Both shows were great for different reasons; but that first night was just dark'n'funky with a great flow, particularly the Maze, Lizards and Ghost.
A couple of 'why now!?' moments as well, but thats all part of the ebb and flow that makes Phish so special. Big improvement since Hampton, which I thought was good too.

What about a night with Elkas Band, Jason Collett, Trews and BNB headlining?
I think that would be fun.. and totally convenient for some of the musicians.

So far I think I'm most excited about Jackson Browne.
I'd love to hear "Running on Empty" live, in its entirety. Preferably with Lindly!
-
I've always wanted to see 'Airborne' live.

freeker- there is a band called the black kids?
Sure you don't mean the black lips? or black keys?
just curious.

Moe.ron and I are hitting:
Hampton (x3)
Alpine (x2)
If anyone knows of extras for Deer Creek- we'd probably hit that one as well.
I have a good feeling about it all.

Great show! Luther and his band are awesome, but Dan Whiteley, the electric mandolin player was a real treat to watch. They pulled out a few of the Floyd covers and some Weeping Tile stuff. They played Sarah Harmer's 'I'm a mountain' too, which was fun.
The sound was actually quite good, sitting up front- I found the vibe reminicent of a rowdier Black Sheep.
Something about that place that always gets me bed-time drunk.

I wonder if we can re-enact something in Ottawa sometime soon. Maybe on Sunday, Booche and I should re-enact JT ripping off Janet's bra during the Superbowl halftime show. I'll be Janet- and yes, I'm ok showing nipple.

Definitely interesting...
London, Ontario right?

.. any reccommendations on lodgings? Its seems like staying nearby is not likely. Advice is welcome!
