GPS?
in Soundboard
Check out radioworld.ca. They have a huge selection of GPS units, plus genuinely knowledgeable staff who answer all questions. Prices are competitive. You'll need one with a high sensitivity receiver if you want to use it hiking in the woods.

no kidding- Horowitz' video pwnz *Jaydawgging*
Thanks to the collective skanks who bumped us onto the twelfth page- you only have to watch it if you want to now.
-
I don't believe that, but the same could easily be said about the natural health product market.
No need trying to convince me- the Tofu Mafia will also benefit from and propagate the scare conceived by the Medical Mafia.
No offense, but what gave you the impression I haven't read what you have already posted? This sorta backs up my earlier point about the average listening ability to be honest.I'm not under that impression.
Perhaps I thought that by *Jaydawgging* it, I would draw more attention to such a startling piece of info:
You must admit- considering all the side effects they do monitor for- its odd that they haven't tested their flu vaccines over the years for "carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, or for impairment of fertility."...
-
I'm gonna Jaydawg the shit outta this shit so....
BUMP!!!
Cease and desist order got your tongue?
-
I haven't had a flu shot in over ten years, to me it's a personal choice. I don't feel that our gov't is trying to kill us, but I don't feel I need it.
Kill us? heck no! A sick and dependent customer base is far more profitable to the Medical establishment than a dead one.
The best advice I got before starting my cancer ordeal years ago was, educate yourself, know and understand your current state of health, your and your family health history, talk to your doctor, know the risks (both sides), get a second opinion if you need/want and make your decision. I feel this applies to everything when in comes to our health.Agreed. Though I would put forth that there are more than two "sides" to medical stories. After all, if doctors always told us the truth about the pills they perscribed- the "placebo" effect wouldn't have been discovered. I would think that reading the info sheet that ships with a medication is the least one should do before injecting it directly into one's blood:
Neither FLUVIRIN nor the Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine havebeen evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, or for impairment of fertility.
-
I don't see how the natural health products advertised on Dr Horowitz' site would discredit the mirrored PDF of the H1N1 vaccine safety infosheet provided by the vaccine manufacturer?

"Neurological disorders temporally associated with influenza vaccination such as
encephalopathy, optic neuritis/neuropathy, partial facial paralysis, and brachial plexus
neuropathy have been reported.
Microscopic polyangiitis (vasculitis) has been reported temporally associated with
influenza vaccination....
Neither FLUVIRIN nor the Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine have
been evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, or for impairment of fertility.....
"
Those are excerpts from the infosheet which shipped with the Novartis version of the 2009 H1N1 vaccine.

You can find the entire book online here: Worlds in the Making Chapter 2 has the bulk of the CO2 warming references.
-
juicy from wiki:
Worlds in the Making (1908) directed at a general audience, where he suggested that the human emission of CO2 would be strong enough to prevent the world from entering a new ice age, and that a warmer earth would be needed to feed the rapidly increasing population. He was the first person to predict that emissions of carbon dioxide from the burning of fossil fuels and other combustion processes would cause global warming. Arrhenius clearly believed that a warmer world would be a positive change
...1908 also being the year the first model T rolled off the line...

One of the greatest films ever made....

Thanks for the info dudes. Don't know about you- but Ive been jonesing the FZ a lot lately.
Lookin forward to hearing some of these picks- is Trance Fusion the only studio-ish release?

Most of the Frank I have listened to have been shows/releases cut during his lifetime. There have been quite a few releases trickling out of the Zappa Estate Vaults since he died- wondering if anyone is keeping up with the newer releases- if so- what are your thoughts on them- any that are must have's or must hear's in your opinion?

Spent most of my adult life without a TV set. Had one when I lived in Toronto for a few years with rabbit ears; Left it behind when I moved to Gods country. VHS collection + old VCR is still in the moving boxes. Anything worth watching makes it onto the web these days anyhow.

Anyone who has seen either 200 Dylan or Phish shows should probably go and get their hearing checked out!
wookoffs rule!

The only reason the false debate is being perpetuated- is to protect the west from lawsuits. Developing nations who will be hit hard by rising sea levels etc. would have a bulletproof liability case against the west if we didn't act dumb about the premeditated scientific origin of anthropogenic warming.
Svante Arrhenius? Who dat and why the fuck should I care?
Global warming isn't bunk- its a money making policy.
Its the policy that has shaped our world today- Its a pre-emptive strike against the threat of mother nature's evil empire of glaciers and ice ages. Its the elbow grease thawing out the permafrost for agriculture, mining, and settlement. Its the icebreaker opening up the Northwest passage for shipping. Wall street loves global warming. Oh- and its not happening- as far as those liability lawsuits are concerned.

Have you got a twenty-seven B stroke six?

sorry for being all defender-girl, but i guess i get irked when people act as if they have some kind of musical superiority over another by how many shows they've seen.
Following this quantity based logic- banjo players rule- 'cause hey now- they play waay more notes maaan
My cryptic picture's-worth-a-thousand-words response:

Forced myself out of bed at 4:00, froze my ass off, saw meteors with long streaking trails, listened to howling wolves- watched the sun rise, life is awesome!
-
From what I understand, the show in Eastern North America will peak between 4 A.M and sunrise tuesday morning. Looking forward to it.

better late than never-

Excellent idea- when and where is the show?
-
Though I'm not thrilled that they can turn it on and off whenever they feel like it- I thank the military for this week of SUNSHINE.
