  2. Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble loading up a photo avatar. I've tried simply copying and pasting the photo, and I've tried opening the pic with internet explorer and copying and pasting it in, both to no avail. Help!!!

    thanks

  3. I think Toscala is a better choice for the money, the record, the shutouts, and the potential. Toscala started only 37 games and had a better record than fernandez (without the injuries of course) and comes at a more reasonable rate. He's only 30, and with more games I think will be a superb choice

  4. Wayward javelin fells long-jumper

    Saturday, 14 Jul 2007 10:33

French long-jumper Salim Sdiri was hit by a wayward javelin while he was warming up during last night's Golden League meeting in Rome.

Sdiri was stretching on an area between the track and the field when Finish thrower Tero Pitkamaki accidentally hit him with his javelin.

The Frenchman was hit in the on the right side of his ribcage, amazingly only suffering a flesh wound, though clearly in shock he was immediately taken to hospital.

"Sdiri had a four centimetre injury in his right side," said Giuseppe Fischetto, one of the medics at the scene.

"The point of the javelin partially penetrated his side and he was taken to hospital. Now we will have to see if the pleural membrane was damaged or if it stopped just before the muscle."
