I have no holds on my credit card so I am guessing I got screwed in the lottery- hopefully someone will help me figure out the facebook presale??? I can handle the Livenation presale but I know nothing about how the facebook presale works?

on ticketmaster it says there is a facebook presale- but I have never heard of such a thing. I don't think it is the contest they are refering to though???

well the screen is still fucked up but at least it works now! the only trouble I have now is that it is a little hard to see in the sunlight with the bubbles in the screen. Oh well. I fucked up my phone trying to fix it.

yah- Peter suggested the contact cleaner so I tried that first- but tonight I am going to do a full restore and see if that fixes it. I was just using it as a phone and it was switching itself from speaker phone back and forth and going into face time with people without me touching the buttons! weirder and weirder.

yup- in the fridge in a bag of rice was the advice I got.

yah- well peter says I got what i was asking for since I let a 4 year old use my phone all the time.

we used contact cleaner on it and that gave it some damage on the screen but it seems to work fine now?

well the volume seems to be working today fine but the screen is fucked up- so I guess I didn't leave it dry long enough and I have a hard case on it and I can't get it off at all- it is soo tight. Even peter couldn't get it off- (well he didn't want to break it so he tried as hard as he could). So I was told by a girl at work today that it needs at least 24 hours in rice and possibly in the fridge too- so i only left it in the rice for 12 hours so I will leave it in rice and the fridge again tonight and maybe it will come back cause i totally can't afford a new phone or a used phone right now- all too expensive!!

well we just tried contact cleaner and now the phone won`t stay off when we turn it off! not sure if it has fixed the sound glitch but it appears to have damaged the screen now. so thinking my phone is fucked. going to try the factory restore if all else fails.

so at first I couldn`t even hear a call then after a bit it seemed to work making calls but still no volume control without the headphone jack in. then on the way home it stopped working through the headphone jack and then ramdomly started working completely again and then it crapped out agin- and now it won`t even work through the hedphone jack. Peter says I shoudl turn it off for a while and then he will use some contact cleaner and maybe it will come back! weirdest glitch though. I don`t know if my phone is one the way out or what but all Rogers said was to do a restore which is always thier advice.

no through a headphone jack. I haven't put it on a docking station yet but it charged fine last night on the charger??

if I have headphones in I can hear everything fine but the external speakers are not playing any music or audio for anything but the phone works fine- i can take and give calls. weird ehh?

I tried rebooting it a couple of times and the volume comes back for a second and then goes again.

I actually googled the shit out of it and found a lot of suggestions but nothing seems to work for more than a minute. The best results i got so far were from blowing in the docking station. I am hoping if I clean it with some alcohol later it might fix it

not this time! i won't fall for that twice!
