So it is not in do not disturb mode and the silencer is not on so I can't figure it out- and it notifies me when new texts come in but if I try to call out or listen to something there is not volume?? anyone have any ideas or do you think a restore will fix the problem?? the weird thing is it was working fine like two hours ago and I haven't done anything weird like surf the net or get an weird email that might have given the phone a virus??

we do Tekksavvy for internet- the connection is great and we get a huge package. I think it is roughly $50/mth. We do not have a home phone with them.

the scammer company insisted that they were legit so they gave me my money back when I said I called the cops on them.

I am not a conspiracy theorist! they can watch away!

no one- I got my money back from the scammers.

Yup- she is up and running. I found some great help on the FBI site that had some cleaning programs. Found all the stuff and deleted it. I did not reinstall windows but I have like three virus protection software's on my computer now so i should be good.

Anyone headed there? I know I will see a few of you there. but not sure how many. we are having a very rare night out. (these days you usually see Weirdness out by himself as we have no babysitting except grandma and she is two hours aways so not always realistic). Looking forward to it.

So someone called me this morning and told me their servers were getting a id from my computer that it had a virus and had been hacked. they asked to em to grant access to my computer so I stupidly did and now they are saying they need me to pay them $100 to clean up my copmputer. I shut my computer downa dn restarted and they don't have access anymore but the icons on teh desktop are all gone??? so what do I do to resore my icons? and is this a scam? how to I tell if my computer has been hacked?
