  1. ..have any knowledge about IBS, I keep reading conflicting things about it (damn internet) and I was hoping some personal experiences with it would help clear things up for me.

Feel free to email me at marisolp_@hotmail.com, I'd appreciate any insight into it other than mine [smile]

  2. Right now I'm a landscaper, I don't do anything with cool with computers, I just build what Northern Wish creates. It's just a full time summer job.. wooohoooo.... 15 hour day yesterday was not fun. Ah well. It's better than the restaurant.

  3. I wanted to play the saxophone (have done for almost 9 years now) play the guitar (for about 4 years now) play soccer (been doing it for 16 years) and be a doctor (going through school).

I guess I was a lucky kid because I still love all of it.. except the school part on most days [smile]

  4. I was looking forward to my first taste of nero, everyone's been talking about them so much... but alas..... I have to work at 6:30am every morning.......... I didn't get off work until 9:15pm today what a LONG day... bed time. Night

  5. What's this weezy? You thought i was in a porn not that long ago?? [Eek!] Geez.. and I thought dave-o spotting a third twin (so a triplet then huh huh I can count [smile] ) was scary, apparently I now resemble a porn star too. I'm starting not to like this whole looking like other people thing.

Ohhh, I just remember a really recent memory tied to a song, going nuts in a bar with all the cool university people that I met this year, to the tune of Home for a Rest. (Yes, we are all science nerds and I'm sure it shows)

And thanks bradm for the name of that song, I wonder how it could have ever escaped me, it's only repeated about 8 hundred times in the song!

  6. I'll have to agree with More than Words, it's been one of my favourites for a long time. Lightning Crashes by Live reminds me of the grandmother I never knew. The name of the song from the breakfast club escapes me, but it reminds me of elementary school, Across the Lines by Tracy Chapman reminds me of all I heard about the riots and how thankful I am not to have gone through them personally, November Rain just makes me sentimental about anything, and almost anything off of Van Morrison's Moondance gets me thinking, like And it Stoned Me and Caravan remind me of fun summertimes with my friends, Moondance reminds me of my prom (ok so it wasn't really that long ago)..... I could go on forever.

gee.. I really actually do relate a lot of my past to music. Go figure. [Roll Eyes]

  7. Alright then, so at least we have that all figured out. But I don't think that you should blame your blury vision on being on stage, there must have been *some* other reason for it. -

As to who this other twin is.... I'm still confused [Frown]

  8. Apparently you do have me confused [smile]

I showed up at CTMF with Canned Beats and Giggles. I kept Canned Beats standing during his saturday night fiasco, umm.... I'm short, short brown hair, blue glasses.....

    That help at all?

  9. Um....

actually, no, it wasn't me there this weekend. I tried to get there to see AHS, but unfortunately I failed that attempt miserably... Maybe it was Catphish..... or else I have another twin????[Eek!][Confused]

Or maybe you just have me confused with someone else entirely [smile][Confused]

  10. I'm in the middle of cooking that stir fry I mentioned earlier, and true to my own form, I just threw a bunch of things together for a sauce, but this time i htink I created a masterpiece or a monster, that's yet to be determined. It smells and initially tastes great, let's just see how it goes with the entire stir fry.

It's SO simple to make, and literally was a conglomeration of things in my fridge.

    Kikkoman Roasted Garlic Teriyaki sauce,

Diana Sauce Gormet Spicy flavour, Soya sauce, Ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and a last minute addition, Inniskillin Riesling a white wine.

    should be good.

  11. Though you can get packaged stir fry sauces at the grocery store, I don't always use them. Sometimes I just toss in some sort of bbq sauce, or jerk sauce. Even soya sauce can add a bit of flavour to any of the already mentioned sauces or even on it's own. I tend to just open the fridge/pantry, see what's there, and come up with some combination of whatever sauces and fresh herbs I have (I love having a mommy with a green thumb!!)

And as to another way of cooking spinach, Ms. Hux way sounds great I'm going to try it next time, but if you want to go a little more on the 'lite'r side (as if spinach wasn't lite enough) just throw the spinach in one of those veggie steamers in a pot with some water and let it steam up (or down actually).

  12. I seem to remember thinking that his speech was going to end in several different places, but he just kept going! It may have been only 20 minutes long, but think of it as a laughing fit that lasted 20 minutes [smile] laughing is great exercise for those beer guts that may have developed for some people that weekend!

  13. I also noticed at that site that there's a link to a downloadable version of Yo's raffle, I know a few people has asked if anyone taped his speech, I guess this means yes folks [smile]
