I unfortunately will be leaving for the weekend so I'll party hard in London to make up for it. (on that note: the road trip is cancelled, I got a flight to L-town for my B-day) We'll all have to get together and 'git it on' next week. I don't know how many of you have heard of Ben Bens on Somerset, but they used to be the most incredible chinese food retaurant in the city. They lost their main cook about a year ago and the food went to shit. I took a little break from studying and went down for lunch today, and my god, IT'S BACK.

They got a new cook about two weeks ago and he is fantastic. For $6 you get enough food to last you for the day (I'm so full I feel ill). Everyone should stop by and check it out.

Does anyone know where I can get a rotating christmas tree stand for a decent price? It has to be able to hold up a 'real' tree not some crappy fake one. I've been looking everywhere online and they cost almost $100. I have a vague memory of seeing one advertised for about $30 but I can't seem to remember where.

I heard from a friend that there was a big lineup in front of the bar at about 10:30, either it was sold out or they just hadn't opened the doors yet. I'm sure it was a good night though.

It's no longer eugene's bar. He only owns Zaphod's now. The barrymore's manager is Andrea, and she's great. I'm sure if we had been able to talk to her she would have welcomed us all in. But I guess meatheads have all the control.

Bad news for nero...

We unfortunately just found out that the November 29th show in Kingston has been cancelled. It sucks, but hopefully we can get something else set up soon.
