I've seen Jukejoint once, and it was amazing! They broke into all kinds of new jazz/funk territory for most of their second set when I saw them. I think that these guys will be a treat to listen to when they play at Frontier Town on the Saturday night of the May festival.

Even though I've really wanted to, I've yet to see the PLQ, and so the Toronto show was a must see for this summer, even before the addition of moe. as an opener. With moe., this is a MUST SEE show for me.

PLQ plus moe. equals a summer night of fantastic music within 75 minutes of my house. So sweet!

I've only seen moe. twice - their last Opera House show made me a big fan. I wasn't as impressed with their last show in Toronto at the Guvernment, but every time I hear a live show I think "wow, these guys are an awesome psychedelic rock band".

I'm heading to Canada's capitol for the nero & Jomomma double bill. It will be a great party in Ottawa that night I am sure! I may even turn it into a full blown night of music and hit the DMB/Bela show as well, but I'm not sure about that yet.

Yes, Monday to Friday I'm up at 6 a.m. give or take a few minutes, which is why I love weekend shows!

... Is anyone else making the trip to Ottawa on April 20 for the nero/Jomomma 420 show? That is going to be one wickedly wonderful party!

The last show that these guys did together was fantastic. Both bands set up on stage and they jammed into and out of each other's sets ... hence the name "Seamless Sets". From what I know this show will also be a seamless sets show, and it's on Saturday 4/20!!! I smile at the thought of the party that will occur

Oh yeah, there are also a couple of opening bands playing earlier in the evening at the Corel Centre (chuckle chuckle).

Looking forward to meeting some of you Sanctuarians in person and to getting sweaty on the dance floor.
