That's the first thing I thought of too, though not with Dylan but Satanic Norwegians.
"He was wearing what? And you let him in where?"

Lots going on Friday, this is my choice.
Thanks for reminder.

now playing - Bruce Springsteen " Working on a Dream", just freshly pillaged from mininova.org
(Tomorrow never Knows is great, not a Beatles cover)
next to play - Gortician "Metal up your C**t", for a change of pace.

I still haven't seen this band! Do they ever play Toronto or Hamilton?
not much, but i saw an excellent show of theirs at The Cadillac Lounge on Queen West, probably 07/early 08. They were in Toronto as well this past Nov, at Yonge/Dundas Square for an afternoon show that I had to miss.

all the best. Rest well, and let others do everything for you.

This has had me laughing for a while now.
Much of it is in questionable/poor taste, but there are a lot of gems in here. I'm personally fond of Poultry in Motion, but hey, if you have some time to kill, check it out.

Meryy Christmas and season's greetings to all of you, and to those around you.
Its a very family Christmas round Chez Slippery, my brother and his wife returned from Boston, and Jen (his wife, if you couldn't put that together) brought her family from Oshawa to have Christmas Eve dinner and attend Midnight Mass.
Family. They can drive you nuts, but damn, they're wonderful.
All the best.
Dave

All the best to you as well.

Thats fucked DAve... I would never schedule my staff for both the eve and boxing day... raise a little hell man. You store is well staffed. Thats BS.

Oh well, water, meet duck's back, then get off, quickly.
-
Dear work,

Thanks for giving me shifts Xmas eve, Boxing Day, NYE, and new years day. I sure do appreciate having no holiday time of my own, you heartless son of a bitch.
F**k You!
here we go again.
Dear work,
Xmas Eve, Boxing Day, NYEve, but hey! What's that? Day off on NYDay?

Vernon Reid of Living Colour and Guitar Hero??
WTF is up with the Guitar Hero reference. Or is that a band that I'm not aware of.
like it or not, a lot of folks are learning about new styles of music from Guitar Hero. Eric Johnson certainly springs to mind, as sales of "A Via Musicom" have increased quite a bit since "Cliffs of Dover" was in GH3.
Makes sense to advertise that way, i guess, though it does sound sorta stupid.
