Is that Hamish Stuart from Average White Band? Looks like a fun show.
-
Sentimental Journey is not the Ringo album to get ... try Beaucoups of Blues, his voice lends itself quite well to country.

Oatmeal?
(A penny to whomever gets that reference)

I have a peculiar weakness for '71 dead ... Skullfuck, Ladies & Gentlemen, Houseboat Tapes, love 'em all. Great to finally have Yale Bowl out, even if only in part.

The third installment in our new Road Trips series features smokin' tracks from the summer tour of 1971, including highlights from shows in New Haven and Chicago.

ohoh, that sounded like a joke goin' over my head. Some sort of lyric i don't know?
John Lennon wrote a song called "Working Class Hero" (ironic, as he wasn't working class ... George and Paul were, and Ringo's family were full on poor, but John was raised in a solidly middle class household).
-
harsh! Music and Art cannot be generally categorized as "best" because each individual has their own taste. Of course The Beatles rank very high on many people's lists. John Lennon is my hero - but is he everyone's hero?
Only to the whole Working Class ...

Where is my mind? Of course I forgot to add this little film that's changed my life for the better:
i thought this movie was horrible. especially the music. but on the other hand, its great to now it inspired.
Cue huge Jerry Lewis styled spit take.

Let's just move on the assumption that I am getting one, ok? I'm not getting one for a status symbol or anything like that, I've been fighting getting one for years but I need one at this point. I've been 2 years working where I had no phone access to the outside at all, and yes I travel a lot. So enough of the "don't get a cell phone" advice and if you have any solid advice for models or plans, I would love to hear it.

Okay, hold your hands out in front of you. Good. Now reach around and rub your ass. It's so easy (and kinda nice actually). I don't understand why someone needs help with this who isn't under 2 or over 90. In which case bikinis and tanning oil likely aren't the wisest decisions either.
You are failing to take into account the fact that Brooke Hogan is incredibly lazy.

I think of all the wrestlers that have died within the past 10 years and wonder why he couldn't have been one of them.
Now now ...

Nothing to do with anything, but anyone know when the annual Ribs cookoff is?

Garnet Rogers is way awesome, I saw him at the Folk Festival some years ago and he was mind blowing.

(Yes' date=' I did extract that directly from the book.) [/quote']

Also, brad is smarter than I am.

wasn't neil born in winnipeg?
According to Shakey, Jimmy McDonnough's biography of Neil Young, Neil was born at Toronto General Hospital on Nov. 12, 1945. (Yes, I did extract that directly from the book.)

Awesome! Potential thread killer!
346. Songs about the province/state where you were born by musicians also born in that same province/state.. (the musician can be part of a band, but mention the musician's name and place of birth. It could be just mentioned in the song, doesn't have to be part of the title..)
1. Bill Monroe and the Blue Grass Boys - Blue Moon of Kentucky (Kentucky)

Maybe, but isn't it a standard approach in tributes to say "This is how I first met them ..." ?

Micky Hart is a tool.

RIP Bo, you rocked.

I can't believe mine is still there
It's a very broad definition of the service industry, but sure, I'll let it stand
