A really good mosh pit is one of the few primal experiences we can enjoy without actually getting into a fight. I was happy to see the circle pit make a bit of a come back at some shows this year.

Jeff Hunt ('67s owner) is on the Team right now to confirm that he is part of a group actively pursuing a CFL franchise for Ottawa. Hunt's a stand up guy so there might be more to this than just talk. I have my fingers crossed.

There was a great piece on Sportsdesk last night where they interviewed players from other teams about the incident and the universal message was that Downie is going to get his, and if not from Ottawa then from a friend of McAmmond's. Y'all probably heard Jason Blake's comments that Downie shouldn't even be allowed in the league. I think that's a little harsh but it was heartening to see the other players' reactions.
