  4. Steve + Pauly @ Irene's (Ott.) Tuesdays in Oct.

    Every Tuesday in October (13, 20, 27), the duo of Steve Marriner (of MonkeyJunk) and Paul Anthony Roberto (of The Dusty Drifters) will be playing at Irene's Pub in Ottawa, ON. They get started after Irene's trivia night, probably around 9:00pm or so, for a couple of sets of acoustic guitars and singing. There's no cover charge.

  9. Guggenheimer Quintet + Bumpin' Binary @ House Of TARG (Ott.) Oct. 2

    On Friday, October 2, 2015, the Guggenheimer Quintet, along with Bumpin' Binary (live recordings are here), will be playing at House Of TARG in Ottawa, ON.

     

    I haven't seen the Guggenheimer Quintet before, but I think they do instrumental surf-ish music, like this:

     

    Bumpin' Binary is Hammond organ + drums, soul/jazz/funk/R&B.

     

    The show time is 10pm, cover charge is $5 before 10pm, $8 after.

  20. Irene's Pub (Ott.) 30th Anniversary Parties Sept. 11/12

    On the weekend of September 11 and 12, 2015, Irene's Pub in Ottawa, ON will be having its "Dirty 30 Extravaganza" party.

     

    On Friday, September 11, 2015, The Dusty Drifters, Ian Tamblyn, and Patrick Shanks and Friends will be playing. On Saturday, September 12 , 2015, PleasureCraft is playing.
